PREPARING THE GROUND LOCATION
If you choose a ground location that has a factory bolt (Make sure your ring terminal fits around the bolt)
If you choose a flat surface area then simply scrape away the paint at your chosen location. This can be done using a variety of methods.
The easiest method is to take a drill and a wire brush attachment.
PREPARING THE GROUND WIRE
Using a ring terminal, you can crimp or solder your ground wire to the ring terminal.
ATTACHING THE GROUND
If you chose a ground location that has a factory bolt, place it through your ring terminal and secure it with a nut.
If you chose a flat surface, you can use a self-tapping screw.
Take the shortest available self-tapping screw (usually 3/4") and screw it into the vehicle.
